Ha ha, maybe I'm getting cynical in my old age!! LOL!!!

You know what, I've seen that "Let It Go" clip online countless times since (thanks, YouTube) so I have no doubts it'll grow on me eventually.

The Sherman film I'm a bit "huh?" on – maybe it's the fact that the show never screened here in Australia (to the best of my knowledge), but I'm ansty to see the Lego movie when it comes out (in April, I think, which is idiotic). Thanks for dropping in, dude!

Me too Keith, I'd heard this film was "amazeballs" and whatnot, so I probably went into it expecting some revelatory experience. Which I didn't get. But it's still worth seeing, because it is a very good film.

I had no real issues with the trolls or the snowmonster. The problem I had with Olaf was that he was inconsequential to the story. To steal from a recent episode of The Big Bang Theory – if you took Olaf out of the film, almost nothing would change (although you would lose an admittedly great song). The snowmonster provokes Anna and Kristof to flee Elsa's rage, and later provides the Duke's henchmen an opportunity to go after Elsa alone, while the trolls kicked the whole plot of Elsa's estrangement from her family by removing Anna's knowledge of her magical powers. Without the snowmonster or the trolls, the plot might have been a lot different. WIthout Olaf, I struggle to see how Frozen would have turned out any differently. He just felt…. yeah, inconsequential.
