Yeah, this isn't for everyone – as I mentioned, MacFarlane's humour is hit and miss for a lot of people; perhaps I was just in a good mood when I watched this one…

Great to see you liked this one! I laughed so much more than I expected to after the mediocre/bad reviews. As far as laughs go, this was my favourite comedy of last year, behind What We Do In The Shadows of course. I'll admit Spy and Trainwreck may have been better films but this film had me laughing so much!

Didn’t like this one as much as you. The imbalance you spoke of just killed it for me. The movie dragged badly during the Civil Rights stuff because it had nothing new to say on the matter and whatever it did was mishandled. On top of that, the jokes were more hit and miss for me. I’ll stick with the first Ted.
