You won't find me arguing that point at all. He's brilliant in everything I've seen him in – even Star Trek Nemesis, where he was hampered by a ludicrous script and poor direction.

This might be sacrilegious but has anyone considered a non-Brit to play Bond? Then again…. perhaps not.

I still like the dude who plays Jon Snow as a possible Bond.

The only other Browning films I've seen have been Sucker Punch *shudders* and A Series of Unfortunate Events which I rather enjoyed. I definitely would prefer an unknown playing Bond over Hardy but with the names people seem to be putting forward he's the best in my opinion. I still agree he would be better getting to do his own stuff instead of being stuck to Bond all the time as well. I also think he's probably too old now anyway. Aiden Turner was rumoured to be in talks recently and I actually like that choice simply because I haven't really formed an idea of him as an actor yet.

Ha ha, I did enjoy this one. Browning's filmography teeters into "award bait" stuff more often than not (excepting Sucker Punch, obviously) – I am yet to see her Sleeping Beauty film, sadly – and I thought she did a pretty decent job here, given she was almost totally outclassed by Hardy's dual work. Based off this I'm still not sold on Hardy doing Bond; it begs the question, do we really want to see an actor of Hardy's unique caliber stuck doing Bond for a decade, when he could be making more films like this or Mad Max or Locke? Frankly, I'm happy to see him *not* play Bond if it means more diverse and interesting roles.
